For this reason, I place value in functional health strategies, forming healthy habits, and lifestyle focused goals. This CAN be achieved without sacrificing a healthy relationship with food. 5 Reasons I Don't Recommend Trendy Diets
This is what I have heard from many patients throughout my years in healthcare, especially with the continued popularity of no-carb/high-protein diets.

The first session is 90 minutes for a deep dive into medical history, previous nutrition interventions, and food relationships. A nutrition prescription is created around your health goals with individualize strategies to fit your lifestyle. Follow up visits are usually weekly at first to get you started and tackle any immediate barriers. Most clients choose to meet virtually for convenience, but we do offer in person sessions at our Tyler Office.
Yes! We are in network with many of the larger commercial medical insurance options. Many plans cover 100%, but patient responsibility can vary. If your insurance is out of network, we can still bill, but patient responsibility is likely higher. Book a discovery call for more details.
Yes. The Initial consult is ~90 minutes with follow up sessions ~45 minutes. Each plan is tailored to the client, including total sessions and frequency of scheduling.
Dietitians are licensed professionals, accredited through Commission of Dietetic Registration after completing a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, a qualified internship and >1000 supervised practice hours. Dietitians are licensed in the states the practice in. Nutritionist is a general term for those who have a certification of a completed course. Nutritionist cannot bill insurance for services provided.
